The Mavericks did it again in this Frozen Four duel with St. Cloud State. Dallas Ger finished off a 2-on-1 for Minnesota State, giving the Mavericks the lead roughly five minutes into the final frame. Even though the Huskies opened the second period with a goal from Will Hammer to make itthe Mavericks came back hard, first cutting the lead to when Walker Duehr pushed one past David Hrenak at the mark.
